It's Almost Time!

Hey everyone! I wanted write a personal note because I am so excited about the upcoming MOPS season!

Personally, I have missed our monthly meetings! I have really missed just hanging out with other moms and chatting about things that no one else really understands.

With two preschoolers and a baby, this summer has been full of so many changes for our family. Not all the changes have been fun, but all a part of the growing process I suppose.
Even with three under the age of 3, we still managed to do some traveling. Of course, with Grandma in tow! We don't go anywhere without her! :) We've had a lot of fun with our little family and really enjoyed the summer. Our twins, who are now two and a half, have discovered they l-o-v-e to swim. Thank goodness! Because in this heat, there's not much else to do out in the country!
And baby boy, he's been working hard to pay close attention to his brothers! Sadly (for momma), he won't be a baby for much longer.

Most recently, our family has begun homeschooling with our twins for the first time ever.  We are now in our second week and I must say, overall, I am completely impressed with our boys. We are actually having a blast with our "school time"!

On the not-so-exciting end is...potty training. Overall, I guess it's going OK, but other than considering how much money we will save buying diapers for one instead of three, it's really been dreadful. I know we have a long road ahead of us and I am determined not to give up, but whoa!

Thankfully, Fall, my very favorite time of the year, is just around the corner! I am looking forward to cooler weather, pumpkins, all things apple and cinnamon, the holidays and of course, our MOPS meetings!

I cannot wait to meet up with you all and hang out again! I have missed the great food and awesome conversations!

Welcome!

Here at Urbana MOPS, we are excited about starting the 2012-2013 season. We have some exciting new changes in store for our MOPS moms!

This upcoming season, we are taking the PLUNGE!

1 Peter 4:8-11(The Message) tells us:
"Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God's words; if help, let it be God's hearty help. That way, God's bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he'll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!"

Be sure to stay connected with us here at our new blog and on Facebook!

We look forward to plunging into this new year with you!
